Professional Intervention
There are few things as difficult as watching someone you love struggle at the hands of a substance use disorder or mental health issue. You likely feel hopeless, helpless, and at the end of your rope. You have already tried everything in your power to help without making an already delicate situation even worse.
What steps can you take to help?
When you feel you’ve reached this impasse, it is the right time for professional intervention services. As a professional interventionist and certified clinician with years of training and hands-on experience, I will work with you to achieve safe and effective outcomes and get your loved one the help they need.
We already share a common goal — to get your loved one started on the road to recovery.

What is a Professional Intervention?
An intervention is a process geared towards helping an individual recognize the negative effects of their substance use and to present them with an opportunity to receive professional help and make necessary changes.
It is important to understand that a professional intervention is just the beginning.
When your loved one is deep in the throes of substance abuse, they are often in denial about how dire their situation has become.
A professional intervention helps your loved one make the connection between their problematic use of alcohol and/or drugs and the personal consequences they experience as a direct result.
As your interventionist, I will foster a vital sense of composure and control during this chaotic time. I will work closely with your family, troubleshooting destructive behavioral patterns and guiding everyone toward long-term recovery.
Our goal is to present your loved one with a safe and structured opportunity to receive the help they need, making significant and lasting changes before irreparable damage is done.
I have been personally trained by some of the best interventionists in the field, including board-certified American Interventionists Jeff and Debra Jay. I bring years of experience to each successful intervention.
What Makes an Intervention Successful?
There is a common misconception that a “successful” intervention is one that ends in your loved one accepting professional help. Of course, this is the goal — and the majority of the time, this is the outcome.
However, not every intervention results in immediate compliance. Sometimes it takes several weeks or months for your loved one to come around and acknowledge that professional help has become a necessity. If this is the case, I will be available to work with you in the meantime, helping you uphold the boundaries you set and helping you restore your own mental and emotional well-being.
The professional intervention is truly the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the healing process — not just for your loved one, but for every member of your family that has been impacted.
